An article entitled,  5 Spices That Can Help You Lose Weight, highlighted cinnamon and ginger—two of the main ingredients in dōTERRA’s Slim & Sassy blend.

The article stated that in 2003 a study published in Diabetes Care showed that as little as one teaspoon of cinnamon per day can boost the body’s weight-loss ability by reducing blood sugar and promoting healthier processing of carbohydrates.
